Native Threads continues to ship out our products to military bases throughout the Middle East. We’re proud to be lifting spirits and spreading Native pride among our troops stationed in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan.
To help U.S. military personnel stay connected to home, we’re posting many of the photos, letters, and stories we receive on our website. We recently received this group shot snapped in front of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter in Saudi Arabia.
“Hello,
We took these pictures standing in front of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. Everyone thanks you for the t-shirts and your support.
Take care and God bless” Joe

Hello Native Threads,
I would like to thank you for the shirt and the support that Native Threads has for the Native’s in the Military right now. There’s just a few of us over here and you don’t see many Native's around here but we’re here. I’m Here with the 42nd MP BDE, HHC in Baghdad and I help train the Iraqi Police. I’m a Pawnee/Otoe Native from Yale, Oklahoma.
I would like to thank the Veterans for fighting for me and there sacrifice they made for me. In respect of them I’m over here for them and my Native People. I just ask that you Dance hard for me. Sing hard for me because I can hear you in the calm silent nights. Thanks for the shirt and I’ll see everyone at tha Pow-wow soon.

Greetings from IRAQ,
Hi Rudy.
Daniel Brown is the name, representing the Navajo Nation from Ganado, AZ, a small town in northern Arizona near the New Mexico border. I’m currently stationed in Baghdad, Iraq in the “IZ” (international zone/green zone) as a Marine Security Guard. Our primary mission is protection of classified material, protection of personnel and property. MSG’s serve at 136 different U.S. Embassy’s and Consulates around the world.
I had a brief window of opportunity to snap a photo with my new Native Threads tee shirt.
Complacency is unacceptable, so photo ops have to be short and sweet. Me and a few Marines
had spent a day at the range finding our BZO (battle sight zero) on our M-4 carbine rifles.
I haven’t seen any Natives out here in the “IZ” but if I do I’ll send
them your way. If it’s any help I found your sight on rednations.com
My first post as a Military Security Guard (MSG) was in Monrovia, Liberia in the West African region. After that I spent seven months in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates when I volunteered to support the detachment here in Baghdad. After six months in Baghdad, I’ll be sent back to Abu Dhabi to finish up my tour as an MSG. Soon after that its back to school with my sights set on being a Diplomatic Security Agent for the State Department.
Eventually I’d like to become a history teacher so I can share my experiences with young eager minds. ’Til then I just gotta keep on trucking.
Regards, Daniel Brown
Hello Rudy,
I hope everything is well with you, your family and your business. I was looking over your catalog and it's good, nice stuff.
I was at Camp Doha and I saw this tank with the name "Crazyhorse" so I though it would be good to send it to you, thanks for your support.
Rudy, there are 15 guys in the qc section, some are in Bagram, Afghanistan and others are in Balad, Iraq. I spoke to the guys about the Native Threads t-shirts and they got excited, would it be possible to send us some t-shirts? I can get the sizes. But, if you can't do it, it's okay.
Our unit has been extended, because of the Katrina hurricane. The unit that was going to relieve us was from Mississippi, so now we have to wait and hope somebody relieves us. Hope to see you soon, and get your clubs ready.
Give my love to everyone...God bless take care.
Your brother- in law
