I've learned that the only barriers that stand in the way of our dreams are the ones we create for ourselves. I see too many young people sitting idle, waiting for doors to open for them. To achieve, you have to be determined, and be prepared to take advantage of an opportunity when those doors do open for you. As Native people, we have to invest in our youths and support them in whatever career choices they wish to pursue. Without that commitment, we can't build a better future.
