CultureShockCamp
In the center of Native America Oklahoma, hip-hop is as common as it is anywhere else in the United States.  At the forefront of this movement is a mixture of talent called The CultureShockCamp.  The members Quese IMC, Duo the Sick Prophet and Dj InDiviDual aka 'ShOcK B' are all bonded by the code of hip-hop culture, yet deeply rooted in their ethnic, native and Midwestern backgrounds.  The CSC is promoted by Native-owned clothing company Native Threads based out of San Diego, California  The CSC began promoting their message of cultural diversity through their music in 1998 and always expresses a love for their Native American hip-hop "Okie" roots.  With all this Love for their culture and hip-hop it's no wonder they have been called..."one of the most celebrated hip-hop groups in the Native American world" by The Source Magazine.  Who must have liked the name so much that a year later began a section called "Culture Shock"?!

The CSC emcee's are known for their thought provoking and clever lyrics and also in the 'underground' circles for their freestyles and battle punches.  The Dj InDiviDual is known for his rockin Ish style and taking you on a hip-hop journey with his hip-hop, classics and funk gems.

The group was featured and performed on the Warped Tour (04),  Awol One, Phife, Ludacris, Lil' Jon,  Visionaries, Medusa, Atmosphere, Tech N9ne....now performing on their first Nationwide tour,  "The Pound4Pound Mixxtape Tour"  if you get the chance don't miss this show.
