Congratulations to Brandon Reynolds of the Temoke Southfork, Band of Western Shoshone. He was our lucky winner of a FREE Trip to the 2004 Gathering of Nations, which took place in April in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brandon entered our Photo Contest and his name was selected in a random drawing.
Although our grand prize was advertised as a trip for two, Native Threads covered all the travel and lodging costs for Brandon, his wife Morgan, and their baby boy, Toryn. The Reynolds family really enjoyed and appreciated their free trip to this years Gathering of Nations. Heres what they had to say in their thank you letter to us:
"Thank you Native Threads for the fabulous trip to the 2004 Gathering of Nations. It was great to have VIP seating at the Miss Indian World Competition on the day before the main powwow. The Grand Entry to the Gathering of Nations was truly amazing. We couldn’t believe how many dancers there were?and all the beautiful traditional costumes. We also enjoyed the time we spent sightseeing in and around the Albuquerque area."
A lifelong resident of the South Fork Indian Reservation in Lee, Nevada, Brandon Reynolds works for the Elko County Roads Department as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
